Every game mode in Archero 2

Archero 2 layers a lot of content, unlocked gradually through story progress. The new player's problem isn't finding something to do — it's knowing which mode is worth the time right now. This page separates what each one gives you and when to run it.

Mode by mode

Story chapters

The backbone of the game and the gate on almost everything else. The standard approach is to push until you genuinely cannot clear a stage, then re-run cleared stages for resources until your power catches up. Stalling isn't a problem — it's the signal to move to other modes for a while.

Gold Cave

The most efficient gold source in the game, and the reason gold should never be your bottleneck. Attempts are limited per day and tickets don't carry over, so this belongs near the top of your login routine. Put the gold into the gear you actually wear first, then into talent cards.

Sky Tower

A tower with a large number of floors, each paying out once. Because it never resets, it's ideal content to revisit after an upgrade. If a floor blocks you for a long time, go raise your power and come back rather than retrying at the same strength.

Arena and Peak Arena

Player-versus-player modes. Fights are decided more by power, gear and rune choices than by moment-to-moment control, because they end quickly. What works in Arena therefore differs noticeably from PvE — you want large damage from the opening of the fight. See the PvP rune section on the gear and runes page.

Boss Seal Battle

A dungeon built entirely around boss fights, dropping materials that are rarer than standard farming provides. It's also the honest test of whether your single-target damage build works.

Hunt and idle collection

Accumulates resources over time whether or not the game is open. There's a collection cap, so check in at least once a day. It takes seconds and is the steadiest baseline income you have.

Monster Invasion and guild events

Content the whole guild contributes to, with rewards scaled to the members' combined results. This is why an active guild matters — a quiet one simply forfeits these rewards. Guild donation also takes well under a minute and pays out reliably every day.

Limited-time events

Rotating events usually pay far better than standard content, especially those designed for new players, which can hand out a good weapon or piece of equipment outright. The catch is the timer, so check the events tab every time you log in.

Recommended daily order

Ordered on one principle: do what expires before what waits.

  1. Collect from idle modesStops you hitting the cap and losing accrued rewards
  2. Spend every ticketGold Cave, Arena, Boss Seal Battle, Monster Invasion
  3. Donate to your guildSmallest time cost, pays out daily
  4. Spend energy on chapters or farmingChoose based on which resource you're short of
  5. Try Sky Tower after a power increaseNot a daily task — do it when you've just upgraded something significant
If you only have five minutes a day: collect idle rewards, donate to your guild, and clear Gold Cave. Those three have the highest return per minute.
